The Basilica of St. Francis Xavier in Vincennes, IN is a Catholic minor basilica known for its Federal and Georgian architecture, dedicated August 8, 1841 and elevated to basilica status in 1970 by Pope Paul VI. The interior of the Old Cathedral includes marble-painted poplar columns, stained-glass windows depicting biblical scenes and saints, and an illuminated altar carved with The Last Supper.
