St. Joseph Basilica in Webster, MA is a Catholic minor basilica known for its Renaissance Revival and Baroque architecture, dedicated October 5, 1997 and elevated to basilica status on October 11, 1998, by Pope John Paul II. Completed and dedicated in 1916, the current church features vaulted ceilings, stained-glass windows depicting scenes from the life of Christ, gold-leaf decoration, an imported two-thousand-pound Italian marble altar, and carved wooden furnishings.
