The Basilica of St. Lawrence in Asheville, NC is a Catholic minor basilica known for its Spanish Renaissance Revival architecture, dedicated October 17, 1909 and elevated to basilica status on April 6, 1993, by Pope John Paul II. Inside, the basilica preserves original stained glass, terra-cotta sacred art, and side chapels dedicated to Our Lady and St. Joseph.
