St. Hyacinth Basilica in Chicago, IL is a Catholic minor basilica known for its Russo-Byzantine and Renaissance Revival architecture, dedicated October 16, 1921 and elevated to basilica status on June 21, 2003, by Pope John Paul II. Artisans installed stained-glass windows and a thirty-four-rank pipe organ and completed murals throughout the church.
