The Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption in Covington, KY is a Catholic minor basilica known for its French Gothic Revival architecture, dedicated January 27, and elevated to basilica status on December 8, 1953, by Pope Pius XII. Some of the finest designers in Munich were commissioned by Bishop Maes to create the stained-glass windows, with the first sixteen windows being installed in 1909.
