The Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Natchitoches, LA is a Catholic minor basilica known for its Gothic Revival architecture, dedicated 1854 and elevated to basilica status in 2010 by Pope Benedict XVI. Soon after the establishment of the Diocese of Natchitoches, its first bishop established a seminary in 1855 and founded St. Joseph’s College the following year.
