The National Shrine of the Little Flower Basilica in Royal Oak, MI is a Catholic minor basilica known for its Art Deco architecture, dedicated October 3, 1936 and elevated to basilica status on December 23, 2014, by Pope Francis. Its founding pastor, Fr. Charles Coughlin, emerged as one of the first Catholic priests to harness radio for evangelization.
