The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Little Flower in San Antonio, TX is a Catholic minor basilica known for its Spanish Mission Revival and Art Deco architecture, dedicated 1931 and elevated to basilica status on August 27, 1998, by Pope John Paul II. The friars began plans to build a national shrine in her honor, making it the first shrine in the United States dedicated to St. Thérèse.
