The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Syracuse, NY is a Catholic minor basilica known for its Gothic Revival architecture, dedicated September 30, and elevated to basilica status on October 3, 1999, by Pope John Paul II. Sacred Heart Parish was established in 1892 as the first Polish parish in the Diocese of Syracuse.
